Dr. Tim Lo’s distinguished academic and professional journey in dentistry is marked by his graduation in 2002 from the esteemed Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. His foundational studies were completed at the University of Toronto, where he excelled and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction in 1998.
Dr. Lo’s academic excellence was recognized through his election to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society, reflecting his status within the top 10% of his class. Additionally, his remarkable achievements in periodontology were honored with an annual student award from the American Academy of Periodontology in the same year.
After years of practicing dentistry in a Seattle suburb, Dr. Lo has since returned to Canada. He now continues his professional career in Surrey, BC, where he applies his extensive knowledge and experience to serve the dental needs of his community.
Dr. Ho Ma brings an extensive professional history, with over four decades dedicated to the field of dental surgery. His journey began at McGill University, where he laid his academic foundations with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
Dr. Ma then advanced to Georgetown University in Washington, DC, to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine, a testament to his commitment to the discipline. His pursuit of excellence led him to Ohio State University, where he specialized further, obtaining a degree in Periodontics.
Beyond his clinical expertise, Dr. Ma is passionate about photography, often capturing the beauty he finds in his travels. His hobbies not only speak to his artistic side but also to his appreciation for the world’s diverse landscapes, perhaps reflecting the meticulous and aesthetic nature of his professional work.
Dr. Lo-Lin Tsai graduated dental school in 2000, completed the 3-year-period oral maxillofacial surgery training at Taiwan’s top medical center, and became the youngest oral maxillofacial surgery specialist in Taiwan’s history. Over the years, he has strived to make progress in his career and in the field of dentistry as a whole. In 2014, Dr. Tsai was promoted to be an associate professor at dental school, and he was also honored as an instructor of PhD students in 2017.
Dr. Tsai is renowned for his superb surgical skill. To this day, Dr. Tsai has executed more than 20,000 cases of wisdom teeth extraction and over 5,000 cases of dental implant surgeries. Dr. Tsai was also the pioneering surgeon of All-on-4 zygoma implant full arch reconstruction in Taiwan in 2012. With extraordinary achievement in clinical practice, he immigrated to Canada in 2015 and passed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada. Now, he is committed to providing exceptional service and care for his patients in Taiwan and Metro Vancouver alike .
Born and raised in Taiwan, Dr. Kevin Lee moved to Richmond, BC, with his family in 1999 when he was 15 years old. Dr. Lee received his Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of British Columbia in 2011. After spending a year working as a full-time hospital dental resident at the Montefiore Medical Center in the exciting city of Bronx, New York (Yankees!), Dr. Lee came home to British Columbia, where he spent three years at UBC to complete graduate training in orthodontics. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology for his study of Dentofacial Morphology in Children with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Lee is proud to contribute to his community’s education, health and well-being, and he spends a great effort in keeping up with the most current evidence-based technology to provide effective, efficient, and comfortable orthodontic treatment for his patients of all ages (children and adults). As such, Dr. Lee is experienced with conventional braces, lingual braces (inside braces), and Invisalign®. He had also taken continued education to be familiarized with the latest technology involving skeletal anchorage devices (mini-implant) and accelerated orthodontics.
Dr. Lee is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is also a part-time clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia Graduate Orthodontic Program.
Dr. Lee lives in Richmond with his wife, Dr. Sherry Liu, a local family dentist, and their daughter, Evelyn. Dr. Lee enjoys photography, cooking, movies, and spending time with family and friends in his spare time. He also volunteers at Willingdon Church as a photographer.
Dr. CHEN Jie is a specialist in dentures including complete and partial dentures(conventional or implant-supported), cosmetic dentistry, complex restorations, and tooth wear treatment/full mouth rehabilitation. Graduated as a Master of Prosthodontics Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Medicine in 2008, Dr. CHEN Jie worked for 7 years as a prosthodontist in Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, the top 1 stomatological hospital in Shanghai. Afterwards, she opened Jia Liang Dental Clinic and Bo Yuan Dental Clinic in Shanghai, providing effective, efficient, and comfortable overall treatment solutions for patients of all ages.
Meanwhile, she is the vice president of the Canada Alumni Association of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

Dr. Christine Chen graduated from Taipei Medical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy. She received her Pharmacist license in Taiwan in the same year she graduated. She continued her study at the University of Wisconsin, pursuing a Master’s in Nutrition. After 14 years of working in the pharmaceutical and nutrition supplement industry and as a clinical health counsellor, Dr. Chen decided to begin her Naturopathic Doctorate Degree at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in BC, Canada, and she received her ND license and prescription right two months after she graduated.
Dr. Chen has worked as a health counsellor to help hundreds of people regain their health for over two decades. Dr. Chen’s practice focuses on metabolic symptoms, such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, digestive complications, autoimmune hormone problems such as hyper-/hypo-thyroid, PCOS, menopause symptoms and weight control. Dr. Chen also participated in a research project and treatment protocol development for Autism and ADHD. To be a mother, Dr. Chen is also enthusiastic about children’s health and development.
With both allopathic and naturopathic backgrounds, Dr. Chen uses naturopathic medicine, such as botanical medicine, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, Chinese herbal formula and Nutrition as a primary treatment principle. For difficult control or acute illness, Dr. Chen combines prescription and naturopathic treatment to boost the treatment result and minimize the side effect of synthetic medication treatment.
Dr. Chen is a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC (CNPBC), the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND). Besides completing the basic medical training from school, Dr. Chen also took extra specialty training and gained certificates and licenses.
Dr. Sandy Lin is a registered Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in British Columbia and has practiced since 2006. She completed 5 years of extensive training in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Dr. Lin has successfully passed the NCCAOM license exam for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the USA.
She continued her study and earned a Master’s in Auricular Medicine. Dr. Lin was a faculty member at TCM College, and she has many years of clinical experience in Asia and North America.
As a third generation of TCM doctors in the family, Dr. Lin not only carries knowledge and experiences from the generations of doctors in the family, but she also carries a strong sense of responsibility to help people obtain a better quality of life. In her spare time, Dr. Lin hosts many wellness seminars in the community to educate the public and brings the awareness of a healthy lifestyle to them. She enjoys reading with a cup of good coffee, travelling worldwide and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Wang’s academic career is distinguished by his comprehensive education at Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he immersed himself in an integrative curriculum that embraced both the philosophies of Chinese and Western medicine.
Specializing in Chinese medicine, he has mastered various traditional healing techniques, including meridian acupoint therapy, acupuncture, and therapeutic massage. Currently, Dr. Wang is recognized as a registered acupuncturist in the province of British Columbia, signifying his adherence to professional standards and his commitment to patient care.
His lifelong dedication to martial arts, a discipline that complements his medical expertise, has earned him significant acclaim, notably as a national runner-up in China—a testament to his discipline and skill.
